How the FBI fingerprint process works
Step 1
You will receive an email from TrustVault® with a QR code you will need to print or have available on your mobile device to take to the scanning location.
Step 2
Read the email instructions which require 2 forms of ID to be presented to get your fingerprints scanned.
Step 3
Go to the fingerprint scanning location, no appointment necessary, with your 2 forms of ID and get your fingerprints scanned.
Step 4
After your fingerprints are scanned, you will get an email from: NOREPLY@accuratebiometrics.com informing you that your prints have been received.
Within 24 hours you will receive another email from: NOREPLY@accuratebiometrics.com, with your fingerprint results.
Download the results to a computer only (mobile devices are not allowed). **Download is only allowed one time.**
Upload the results PDF to the Applicant Information Form (bottom section of the form).
